Windows Media Player হল Windows এর ডিফল্ট Player যা বর্তমান Windows ভিত্তিক অপারেটিং সিস্টেমগুলোতে জনপ্রিয়তার শির্ষে। এর ব্যবহার খুবই সহজ আর দেখতে খুবই সুন্দর। তারউপর বিভিন্ন স্কিন বদলানোর সুযোগ আছে। এতে যদিও সকল ধরনের অডিও, ভিডিও গান চলে না। কিন্তু কোডেক ইন্সটলের মাধ্যমে সকল ধরনের অডিও, ভিডিও গান চালানোর ব্যবস্থা করা যায়। তাই Windows এ এই Player টি থাকলে অন্য কোন Player দরকার পড়ে না। এর আছে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কিছু শর্টকার্ট যা অনেকের কাছে জানা নেই। নিচে এর কিছু শর্টকার্ট দেয়া হলঃ
